in the sun
I'm feeling quiet and sleepy this morning. (okay, confession: four years behind the masses, I just started watching LOST from the beginning. And I'm staying up far too late watching just one more episode each night, and scaring myself silly.)
So I'm going to hang on today through the bumps and the waves of the day, until this afternoon when the spring sun warms the newly-opened sunporch enough so I can steer us all out there. Where Ezra will play the drums with wild abandon; Adelaide will take the farm animals on a camper journey, narrating the entire trip; Steve will pick up his guitar for some more lovely sound; Calvin will come to the door every five minutes with a building status report on his bike-ramp-in-the-snow; and I will lay on the floor with handwork by my side, but likely ignored, while I close my eyes and let the sun and sounds stream in. A little bit like yesterday.

Speaking of music,I don't recall seeing a fiddling update recently. Is he still enjoying it?

My husband and I are just finishing up the first season of Lost tonight! Let me just say - it is INTENSE!! We are hooked and have spent way too many nights watching just one more episode too. Isn't this the best show?

Sounds like a glorious afternoon with your three little ones all doing what they like best. I love the fact that they will all be doing something so different, yet all together, with you.
Enjoy your sun filled afternoon.

I'm all caught up with LOST, because, I, ahem, keep my TV in the house for the sole purpose of that program. Eeek! I was an X-Files fan way back when (from episode 1), and I started with LOST after reading about it on a homeschooling mom's blog about a month after it began, and was, of course, immediately hooked because of its similar scariness. Anyway, enjoy it!

lost is the best. Once you are caught up it is painful waiting for the next episope.

Umm...Welcome to the Island is totally the only thing I can say!! We love Lost in our home. We never had cable so we started renting the seasons last summer. It didn't take too long until we were hooked, watching just 'one more' episode. It's one of my favorite shows! If you watch as much as possible, you can be all caught up for the next season which starts towards the end of April!!

Let spring begin. We too enjoy our porch. However, this time of year in the wonderful South, everything is covered in a wonderful yellow dusting of pollen. Enjoy the sun, and that wonderful music that only children can make desirable.
You photos are always so inviting.

My husband and I are addicted to Lost too. We actually wish we could go back to the start and watch it all again - so many clues, so many twists!

re: the camper
I'm getting lots of requests for the maker of the camper, but I'm sorry that I do not know! It has no markings on it. It's German, though, I do believe. And I bought it from Magic Cabin several years ago. It is not the Fagus camper, but another one.
Best of luck finding it!

Where did you get that wooden camper/motor home? It is my sons 4th birthday in a couple of weeks and my kids would play with that daily. My dd has been asking for a family van for her dollhouse people!
