What a cute page.. I red some of your posts, so creative really.. Love it.. Will come again :))

Look at all those wonderful buttons. It reminds me of my grandmother's stash. Amanda, I just love your photos.

Awesome!

A lovely Sunday feeling ...

wonderful shot - it makes me want to run my fingers thru my own stash

Love the sheep, they are so cute.

I just found your blog and I have been devouring it this weekend...I have never sewn anything in my life, but coming here makes me want to go out, buy a sewing machine, and get to work. Now.

What sweet sheep... I wonder what they are destined for? Will we see them again?

What a nice cup. Oddly, my desk is also filled with buttons right now too :)

Man, I am LOVING this project of yours. Thanks for sharing your lovely photos! And the nursing one? I had a severe case of phantom let-down on that one; you caught that feeling perfectly. Can't wait to see the rest.

Your photo's inspire me & give me a sense of tranquility....keep up the good work!

Amanda- your life is beautifully colorful.

I love your blog having just discovered it and I've been thinking about doing a photo diary myself as the photos are such a nice way of remembering things. Although if I could take photos as lovely as yours that would be great. Luckily it's my birthday in a fortnight and I'm adding your book on my wish list and I will be leaving some very unsubtle hints to my husband a well.

I could play with buttons everyday.

I love buttons! I think I must head to my local thrift shop to restock :)

This photo makes me smile! My boys (3 and 5 years old) could look threw jars of buttons for hours with me!

I'm reading you blog silently quite a while now. I love your photos... Your blog is so inspiring...

Such sweet sheep! I love the colors... is it linen?

Oh, I would much rather be working with buttons or my embroidery project right now instead of walking in the kitchen to wash a million dishes!

I too love buttons! I don't even sew, but i was so happy to receive my grandma's button stash when she passed away. d

Love that pink mug too!!!

Such great light.

I love everything in this shot...the pink mug is adorable, and so are the sheep :) Love them.

Can you send some of those beautiful sun rays my way? I could use the vitamin D right about now. Gorgeous content, my friend.

Arhhh vintage buttons... they are irristable

Buttons are cheerful and look like sweets...they always bring a smile on my face... they have so much texture ,just like people ... mixed with sunshine and a nice cup of tea or coffee life is good....
thank you for giving us so much pleasure with your photos....

Ahh the sheep... xxx

i saw your sheep this morning and they have been kind of stuck in my mind all day.
they are very sweet!

Hello Amanda. Your photos are lovely. How do you get the tiny shadows that make that wonderful difference between flat boredom and too stark reality? Is it just camera angles and natural light?

I love your blog and have been reading it for a couple of weeks. I find it subtle, profund and utterly charming. Thanks for sharing.

I love this photo! I have such a ridiculous love of buttons and embroidery, I find this perfect.

That's a lovely puddle of buttons - so full of potential :)

Oh sheep! Too sweet!!

Here for the first time and just thought I'd say "HI". Your pphotography is beautiful and reflects your day.

Loved exploring your blog for a bit!

Just wondering, is it buttons or sheep, that the sweet Soules count as they drift into Nod?

I am like others who recently found your blog. It's just lovely. And I can't wait for your book... April seems far away! Loving the photos too - the buttons are so colorful but I really dig those sheep. My one year old just saw the photo and said "Baaa" so I guess he digs them too.

I love old buttons, but collect sheep... Your embroidered sheep really caught my eye.
I love the simplicity of them. You sure have a talent.

Really enjoyed reading your blog and the pics are so pretty!!

great pic, I envy your button stash

I think I may officially love you now that the fabric with the sweet sheep embroidery is so nice and wrinkly. I simply loathe ironing.

very interesting pics!

cute!
i was so inspired with your project and wanted to follow, but there was just too much going on...plus i seem to be soooo tired all the time, roll on spring!:)

I am absolutely in LOVE with those sheep...darling!

Ah, love this. If ever I need a bit of inspiration, I just pour out the collection of buttons I inherited from my Grandmother---I always find a few surprises...

This is one of my favorites so far. Buttons and embroidery make for a wonderful day.

Snap! I love a good collection of old buttons collected from the sewing cupboards of great aunt and grandmothers, along with those from the local op shops. They certainly strike a chord with many people. Their charm, whimsy and practicality.
