Week 20 Update
Eat one of these every night (yes, every night...thanks for all the driving, Steve), and you get this:
Yes, at a mere 20 weeks, I'm feeling quite a bit larger than I did in either other pregnancy. But oh, those banana splits! Heavenly! Things are moving along just fine....and lots of moving inside happening too. The baby's dancing is now feel-able for Steve and the kids. Acupuncture has completely cured my headaches. And did I mention that my acupuncturist insists I'm having a girl...and my midwife says acupuncturists are always right about these things, of course. ;) Millie, Lucille, and Quinn are topping out the name choices at the moment, but nothing's for sure.
I've been starting to prepare the boys for the birth a bit. Here are a few images from this wonderful book, Welcome With Love, it's by Jenni Overend and is beautifully illustrated by Julie Vivas. It's such a sweet story of a family and their homebirth. I especially love the images of the family "birthing" together!

isn't this time the best time ever? If I could bottle the feeling I would have.Nice belly!

I can't believe how broody your 20 week tummy makes me feel. I loved being pregnant both times and I hope and pray that I can experience it again. Just not right now. There are 4 years between brooke and cameron and while I dont think I'd wait that long again he is only 8 months old. A little too soon to start over again. But you look gorgeous, and I'm a little jealous!

Heehee! I'm getting Dave to bring me one home tonight after he's done climbing! Ever since you mentioned the words "banana split" last week I've been CRAVING one! I'm oh-so-jealous that you live near Beals! Theirs are the BEST!

What a cute little belly! Oh that banana split looks positively scrumptious! I'm 31 weeks preggers (as of today) . . .and I'm telling ya, that ice cream is callin' my name!
I'm also loving your tote bag that you created down below -- I've been meaning to craft something up a la Lizette Greco too. Yours turned out wonderfully.
If you have a chance, swing by my blog too -- I have my belly shots too! This will be my third babe....is this your third too?
And I SO LOVE the name Quinn....
we have GOT to get started on the name game - - we're having a girl!

Hi, I've just found this April entry of yours (doing a bit of exploring the archives) and I just had to respond. When I was pregnant with my third I found that Julie Vivas book too, and although I didn't have a homebirth we were in a birthing centre and it was the best book to prepare my two boys. Gorgeous illustrations. I love the page where the boy answers the phone and yells "Mum's having a baby!" and can't hear the other person cos of the mother's labour yells.
Plus, I wanted the name Millie if our 3rd was a girl (he wasn't), but my husband's and children's surname is Quinn, and together they sound like a medication, so it went out the window. He turned out to be a Harry. I hope you get your Millie! Or Quinn! (But not miliquinn!).
